Meanwhile, Deputy CM Ajit Pawar visited the Mahatma Phule Wada, Phule's residence, in Ganj Peth, Pune to pay his respects to the founder of the Satyashodhak Samaj as well as his wife Savitribai, who was a pioneer of women's education in India
"On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule, a great social reformer and thinker who made invaluable contributions to the educational and social development of the society, I visited Mahatma Phule Wada, his residence in Ganj Peth, Pune; I paid my respects by offering a wreath to the statue of Phule. I visited the museum which has a collection of photographs and objects related to Phule," Deputy CM Pawar wrote on X
