Comedian Trevor Noah is currently in India touring with his new show 'Off The Record'. Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on September 22. He did two more shows in Delhi on September 23, and 24. He then had a show scheduled in Bengaluru on September 27 and 28. However, the show on Wednesday night had to be canceled at the last minute owing to a 'technical glitch'.

The show which was scheduled for 7.30 pm started 30 minutes late on Wednesday night at the Manpho Convention Centre in Bengaluru. The show then ended abruptly after many audience members couldn't hear anything because of ''bad accoustics.' Trevor Noah tried to fix the situation with the help of the sound department but later came up on the stage to apologize while announcing the cancellation of the show and promised a refund to the audience.

Noah also took to his X handle and wrote, "Dear Bengaluru India, I was so looking forward to performing in your amazing city but due to technical issues, we've been forced to cancel both shows. We tried everything but because the audience can't hear the comedians on stage there's literally no way to do a show. We'll make sure all ticket holders receive a full refund and again I'm so sorry for both the inconvenience and disappointment this has never happened to us before,'' he added.

However, the massive crowd that had gathered to attend the show took to X and lashed out at the organisers for the poor arrangements and revealed that it more than just an 'acoustic issue' at the venue.

A Twitter user named Ashok Karanth took to the social media platform to share in detail about the wies faced by the audience. "Yes, the @Trevornoah
The show in Bangalore got cancelled. Yes, Bangalore traffic sucks. But these two facts are not directly linked to each other. Guess who can't get away lightly - the organisers,  @bookmyshow Here's why..."

"The venue choice (@manphoco) for this event was atrocious. Terrible access roads, and the parking was utter chaos. There was some random parking pass that supposedly was needed to park - but the vast majority of cars were stuck finding parking while 100s of slots were vacant. Entry to the venue needed a QR code scan - all high-tech. One small issue - there was no mobile data access at the venue. No internet, no QR code. Limbo," he added.

"The auditorium is a glorified Amazon warehouse! One large hall with no elevation, no stadium seating. We were in the eye-strain seats in row AZ - no, really.  We paid Rs. 4500/- for that. What were we thinking?"

"The main man @Trevornoah  comes on stage. He realises something is amiss. He does a sound check and goes backstage to see if it can be fixed. Did
@bookmyshow really not check this beforehand? They had one job - make sure we can hear the comedian. Nah, too much to expect I guess. Reimbursement offers are made by Trevor, not by Bookmyshow. He's the one person who comes out of this sordid mess with dignity intact. He does not know what hit him - this is shambolic, even by Indian standards," the tweet further read.

"You can hide behind traffic woes, but how does that explain the cancellation of tomorrow's show? Bookmyshow has some serious explaining to do - they are one of India's best, and if they can mess up like this, I shudder to think how other events are run."
