Aishwarya Sharma, fresh out of Khatron Ke Khiladi 13, participated in Salman Khan's Bigg Boss 17 almost immediately with her husband Neil Bhatt. They entered the show as a couple. Aishwarya and Neil are among the most loved pairs on television. The actors were co-stars in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin and fell in love while working on the daily soap.

In an interview with Mid-Day.com before entering the Bigg Boss 17 house, Aishwarya shared her expectations from the reality show. She said, "My only expectation from Bigg Boss 17 is to win the show. I don't know whether I'll win the trophy, but there's no harm in dreaming big. This is my dream and I hope it comes true."
When asked whether she'll play the game inside the Bigg Boss 17 with her heart or mind, Aishwarya replied, I mostly think from my heart and that's also how my game will look like. Yes, I have my own opinions, but they will be displayed only when needed. I will never unnecessarily poke or interfere in other people's matters."
Speaking of people's opinions and whether it will affect her, Aishwarya shared, "Everyone can have their opinions, and I cannot change that. I also have my own opinions and cannot be controlled by anyone. If I feel something isn't right, I'll definitely speak."
Aishwarya also opened up about whether the thoughts of having fights with Neil inside the house bother her. She shared, "Yes, I have a fear of fighting with Neil on screen. But, we fight often because we are a couple, and every couple fights. We should not go out of proportion for this. I think we should not fight too much. We are a normal couple, a real-life couple. There are fights, there is love, and everything happens together. I am not worried about that."
Aishwarya and Neil first met on the sets of their daily soap, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. They played the lead pair. The couple got married in November 2021. Aishwarya left the show this year to explore different opportunities. She participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi 13.
