Makar Sankranti, Pongal, Magh Bihu, Lohri: Glimpses from celebrations of harvest festivals in India

Various places in India were immersed in vibrant colours and festivities as people celebrated harvest festivals across the country. This auspicious time is known by different names in different regions like Lohri, Makar Sankranti, Pongal, Magh Bihu, Uttarayan, among others. From kite flying to traditional rituals, and from decorations to other festivities, here are some glimpses from the celebrations.
