Mumbai News LIVE Updates: To vent anger, Sena workers put up Kamra`s picture outside public toilet in Indore
Kunal Kamra`s parody song targeting party chief and Maharashtra deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has sparked a raging anger amongst many in the country which lead to Shiv Sena youth wing activists put up a photograph of Kamra outside a public toilet in Indore on Tuesday.
Sena leader threatened Kamra by warning him that his face will be blackened and he will be paraded on the streets if he visits Madhya Pradesh.
The protest was held outside a public toilet in Bengali Square where Sena activists shouted slogans against the 36-year-old comic who has stood his ground and refused to apologise following the controversy.
According to PTI, Anurag Sonar, president of the Madhya Pradesh unit of the Shiv Sena`s youth wing Yuva Sena, stated, "Kamra serves filth to people in the name of comedy. To protest against his dirty mentality, we have put up his picture."

Amid a row over stand-up comedian Kunal Kamra, who has been in the eye of the storm over his jibe at Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Maharashtra Minister Uday Samant said on Tuesday that the latter is getting more attention than he deserves.
Speaking to ANI, Samant challenged Kamra to come to Maharashtra and speak his mind rather than making comments from the comfort of Pondicherry.
"People are giving more attention to Kunal Kamra than he deserves...He should come to Maharashtra and not speak just by sitting in Pondicherry... He has spoken ill for several people, and those who are supporting him are more deformed than he is," Samant said.

Mumbai News LIVE Updates: Torres scam: accused encouraged cash investments, says police charge sheet
The accused in the multi-crore Torres scam offered two per cent higher returns on cash and avoided accepting investments online so that they could misappropriate the funds easily, the charge sheet filed by the city police has said.
Investors were also encouraged to buy moissanite stones and gold/silver jewelry through cash, claimed the charge sheet, filed before a local court a few days ago.
The company also offered attractive gifts such as flats, cars, mobile phones and television sets to entice customers, it said.
A two per cent higher rate of return was offered for cash investments to facilitate misappropriation of invested funds, the charge sheet said, adding online payments were avoided on pretexts such as a slow Internet connection or network issues.
Platinum Hern Pvt Ltd, owner of Torres brand, is accused of cheating around 14,000 investors of at least Rs 142 crore through a combination of Ponzi and multi-level marketing (MLM) schemes.

The Maharashtra government is committed to ensuring that no concrete road work in Mumbai is of substandard quality, Industries Minister Uday Samant said on Tuesday in the legislative council.
He said a senior bureaucrat has been tasked with coordinating road concretization projects in Mumbai and ensuring they are executed by adhering to top quality standards and safety protocols.
He was responding to a starred question raised by BJP MLC Prasad Lad.
Unstarred questions are those to which written answers are given by ministers, while `starred questions` are those to which answers are desired to be given orally on the floor of the House.
