What's On dropped into Malad's Willi Walla Snack Bar to try the Wallabi, an exotic Middle-Eastern dessert that comes with a rose dressing
Malad's latest snack bar has been set up by Yaniv Brikman, an Israeli national. And so, Willi Walla has an exotic Middle-Eastern dessert on its menu that is worth trying. Wallabi (Rs 30), prepared with cream, coconut, peanuts and served with a rose dressing was differently divine. The eatery also serves Hot Dogs garnished with five different sauces.
Food: We tried the Grilled Cheese Toast (Rs 35), Willi Dog Chicken (Rs 55) and Salami Toast (Rs 60); fairly decent in taste but we wish they could be more filling. We suggest you grab a bite at another eatery, but drop in here to finish it off with the Wallabi.
Ambience: Eating at Willi Walla Snack Bar brings back memories of snacking at a college canteen as you sit on plastic chairs and eat out of paper plates.
Service: The staff is at hand if you need assistance, and we love the idea of dishing out sample bites to customers before they place an order for a dish.
At: Willi Walla Snack Bar, Chincholi Bunder, Malad Link Road, opposite Evershine Mall, Malad (W).
