Multiple 'bomb scares' halt Air India, Jet flights

New Delhi: Multiple bomb scares in Delhi-Kathmandu bound flights halted the operation of Jet Airways and Air India flights on Wednesday.


Jet Airways flight 9W260 Delhi to Kathmandu has been delayed following a security alert. All 122 guests and seven crew members of this flight have been taken to the waiting area.


The Deputy Commissioner of Police of the Airports had received a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) threat call.


Both flights are being checked by bomb disposal squads in Delhi.
