Janfest, the annual festival organised by the student body, Indian Music Group (IMG) at St Xavier's College begins this evening. Over the years, Janfest has seen performances by some of the most legendary musical geniuses performing for classical music lovers. 
Pt Shiv Kumar Sharma will perform at the first session on January 26
This year, the line-up of artists at the festival includes stalwarts such as Pandit Shivkumar Sharma, Ustad Shujaat Khan, Pandit Ajoy Chakrabarty, and Ustad Rashid Khan.
Representing the younger generation of Hindustani Classical performers are Kumari Komkali Kalapini, Shashank Subramanyam, Amaan and Ayaan Ali Khan, Ustad Yogesh Shamsi among others.u00a0u00a0
