Porn, pirated CDs worth Rs 11 lakh seized

Sleuths of city's Social Security Cell yesterday raided a shop in Hadapsar and seized pirated CDs, MP3s and DVDs worth Rs 11 lakh.

The police also arrested five people for selling the pirated material in the open market in Bhekrai Nagar.u00a0

According to the police, 70 per cent of the seized CDs comprise of porn.

Umeshkumar Singh of Cine Star Company, who worked as a field officer with the firm, had filed the complaint following which the raid was conducted.
