Karamjit Anmol says he will bring industries to Punjab and resolve other issues

Karamjit Anmol is said to be a childhood friend of Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann. Based in Punjab, he was also seen campaigning for Mann during the assembly election. From arranging road shows with Mann and Arvind Kejriwal to bringing along artists from the industry, Anmol is doing everything to win the hearts of citizens.

Anmol, in an interview to a news channel, said he got inspiration from Mann who was an artist earlier and came into politics. He said he would work to bring in industries and to resolve other issues faced by the citizens. Anmol was also questioned by many on whether he would disappear after being elected, like Sunny Deol who was the MP from Gurudaspur. Anmol replied that he is a very small artist and will see to it that he spends most of his time for the citizens of Punjab.

2019 LS polls

In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Mohammed Sadik of the Congress won the Faridkot seat with 4,19,065 votes, defeating Gulzar Singh Rankie of the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), who secured 3,35,809 votes. The win was with a margin of 83,256 votes.
