Sunita Williams, Butch Wilmore embark on their homecoming journey to earth

NASA astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, along with two fellow astronauts, have embarked on their much-anticipated journey back to Earth after an extraordinary nine-month stay aboard the International Space Station. The crew made their exit in style, boarding the SpaceX Crew Dragon capsule and undocking from the station at 1:05 a.m. Easter Time Zone (0505 GMT) on Tuesday, March 18. The atmosphere was full of excitement and anticipation as they began their 17-hour trek back to Earth, leaving behind the incredible views and experiences they've had in orbit. This marks the end of a mission that had been delayed due to a previous setback with a faulty Boeing Starliner craft, which had put a hold on their return. But now, with everything back on track, the Crew-9 astronauts are looking forward to a smooth and joyful splashdown off the coast of Florida later in the day.
