A shocking incident of robbery has come to light from Vasai in which a jeweller was robbed at gunpoint. The incident occurred on Friday night as thieves looted 50 tolas of gold, worth approximately ₹40 lakhs, from Mayank Jewellers located in Kaul Heritage City’s - Agarwal & Doshi Complex in Vasai at around 9:15 PM. The shop owner, Ratanlalji Sanghvi, was in the process of closing the store and securing jewellery in the locker when two men arrived on a motorbike. Speaking about the incident, Ratanlalji’s younger son, Abhilesh Sanghvi, said, “We are cooperating with the police and are hopeful for a quick resolution to this unfortunate incident.”

A speeding car on Thursday fell into a 20-foot deep nullah in Vasai area of Palghar district of Maharashtra, the officials said, adding that the operations were underway to pull out the vehicle. Sources said that the incident took place in the Madhuban area of Vasai East at around 6 pm on Thursday. Preliminary information suggests that the driver of the speeding car lost control, causing the vehicle to plunge into the nullah, they said.

As soon as the information about the presence of a snake in the hospital premises came, the officer present in the hospital called Sarpamitra (friend of snake) Suraj Pandey. 20 year Old Karishma Ali was attacked with acid by her husband and lover in Nalasopara. Karishma Ali got severely burnt in this attack. Karishma’s treatment is underway in the Sopara Multispeciality Hospital in Nalasopara. Her husband, Taufeeq Akbar Idrisi and lover Kamran Thekedar Ansari attacked her with acid while she was asleep in her house. A short circuit caused a fire in a firecracker shop in Nalasopara. After getting the information, the fire brigade team reached the spot. It’s being said that a Pigeon sitting on high tension wires above the shop caused the short circuit. The nearby firecracker shops managed to survive. Otherwise, there could have been a big incident. There was no loss of life in this fire.
