Mumbai Metro One to launch shuttle service between Andheri & Ghatkopar
If you’re one of the many Mumbaikars who commute daily between Andheri and Ghatkopar, we’ve got some exciting news that’s bound to make your journey smoother! Mumbai Metro One, the city’s first elevated metro corridor is launching a shuttle service between Andheri and Ghatkopar to improve service frequency and accommodate more passengers during peak hours on the Versova-Andheri-Ghatkopar line, one of the busiest routes in the city. This will help reduce wait times for commuters. From 8:30 am to 10:30 am in the morning and 6 pm to 8 pm in the evening, Metro One will operate shorter trips between Ghatkopar and Andheri—skipping the longer route to Versova. Mumbai’s Mini-Goa Vasai gets a new Vasai-Bhayandar Ro-Ro ferry service
There has been a significant upgrade in Mumbai’s infrastructure in the recent times and a brand new RO-RO ferry survive is the latest addition. A new Vasai-Bhayandar Ro-Ro ferry service will be running on a regular basis from 21st February between Vasai and Bhayandar that is going to cut down the commute time between the two destinations to 15 minutes. This is the second RoRo service in the MMR. The first one operates on the Ferry Wharf and Mandwa route. The newly-inaugurated service will ply eight times a day. The vessel can carry 100 passengers and 33 four-wheelers in one go. Here’s everything you need to know about the service.

PM Modi witnesses launch Of UPI Services In Mauritius, Sri Lanka
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, President of Sri Lanka Ranil Wickremesinghe, and Prime Minister of Mauritius Pravind Jugnauth on February 12 witnessed the launch of Unified Payment Interface (UPI) services in Sri Lanka and Mauritius, and also RuPay card services in Mauritius, via video conferencing. The launch will enable the availability of UPI settlement services for Indian nationals travelling to Sri Lanka and Mauritius as well as for Mauritian nationals travelling to India. The extension of RuPay card services in Mauritius will enable Mauritian banks to issue cards based on the RuPay mechanism in Mauritius and facilitate usage of RuPay Card for settlements both in India and Mauritius.
