Kamran Ansari of Antonio D'Souza High School (ANZA, Byculla) stole the show with a neat hat-trick in his school's 3-0 win over St Aloysius High School (Bandra) in the pre-quarter-finals of the Mumbai Schools Sports Association (MSSA) boys' U-16 Division III inter-school football tournament at Azad Maidan on Friday.

The Bandra outfit, unable to field 11 players, played with a man short and struggled throughout the match. "Three of our players did not turn up for the match as their exams are going on. We cannot force them to play, after all, education comes first," said St Aloysius coach Gavin Vandrine.
Taking advantage of the numbers ANZA ran riot. Striker Kamran, who has represented the Maharashtra state team in U-12, U-13 and U-14 tournaments, opened the scoring in the fourth minute, unleashing a right-footer to beat Aloysius 'keeper Jose Pereira to his right.
After the break, Kamran scored twice more — in the 26th minute with a fine lob over the on-rushing goalkeeper, and a minute later, finishing off a fine solo run.
