It has now launched Let’s Talk Mint, an interactive show about the legacy, rarity and origin of coins and currency notes dating back to over 2,500 years. The show is featured on their website and YouTube page Mintage World, and offers interesting information on Mughal, colonial and princely state coinages like how, for instance, the authenticity of Mughal coins made them more significant for trading purposes compared to Maratha coins.
It is being presented by Girish Jagshi Veera, an eminent numismatist and auctioneer, and its first episode featured icons in the numismatic field like collector and scholar Pukhraj Surana, Dinesh Mody, founder and chairman of Dinesh Mody Numismatic Museum & Institute and Kishore Jhunjhunwalla, a renowned authority on Indian paper money.
“Let’s Talk Mint is launched with an objective to impart and share unknown facts of India’s rich history. It showcases unique trivia and aspects of different rulers of our country. Viewers can now revisit the history they know from a different perspective.
