Proud moment for India! ISRO reaches 100 launches with GSLV-F15/NVS-02 mission success

ISRO has once again made India proud with the successful launch of the GSLV-F15/NVS-02 mission on January 29. The rocket took off from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. GSLV-F15 is the 17th flight of India’s Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle and the 11th mission using an indigenous cryogenic stage. It is the 8th operational flight of GSLV with this cryogenic stage, and also marks the 100th launch from India’s spaceport in Sriharikota. The payload fairing of GSLV-F15 has a metallic design with a diameter of 3.4 meters. This achievement showcases India’s growing capabilities in space technology and strengthens ISRO’s position in global space exploration.
