Welcomes his new bundle ofu00a0joy even as his parents recuperate from a bad fall
Aashish Chowdhry plans to take time off for the next couple of days. His wife Samita delivered a baby boy on January 2 at 2.45 am at Breach Candy Hospital. Earlier, his parents suffered a bad fall at home resulting in fractures.

In the past month, the actor has seen his share of tragedy (when his sister Monica and her hubby Ajit Chhabria were victims of the 26/11 terror attack) and now joy with the new arrival.

"My parents are recuperating. Mom slipped due to the watery surface and dad went to her rescue, falling himself in the bargain!
adds, "I have gone through everything that one would probably experience in a lifetime. But every pain is making me more stronger. We need to find the strength to fight calamaties."
About his bundle of joy, he says, "My son does not look like Samita or me anyway he is only three days old. I was present in the labour room. Initially, Samita was to have caeasarian section surgery on January 10, but she went into labour before the due date."
The couple have decided to most probably name the new arrival Agasthya. "He already has nicknames like August Ash Chowdhry," says Aashish. "I am a completely changed person now.
I don't want anyone to face the tragedy I had to go through. My baby is like the medicine for all of us in the family to get energised back to life," says Aashish, whou00a0 is shooting for Paritosh Painter's Paying Guests and Vishal Pandya's Purple Lake.
