The BKC police are on the lookout for a man who raped a 15-year-old physically challenged girl on Thursday. The man who posed as a cop, raped her when she was alone at her house on a footpath in Kalina.

On Thursday, the 30-something man, introduced himself as 'police uncle' and started asking her questions citing some investigation through which he learnt that the girl was alone. Police said he then started touching her inappropriately and when she protested, he ripped off her clothes and forced himself on her.
The minor screamed for help, but the accused managed to escape. When her family members returned, the survivor narrated the incident to them.

"We are scanning the CCTV footage of the nearby areas and are trying to get a sketch ready with the help of the description provided by the survivor. The hunt is underway," said K V Nigde, Inspector, BKC police station.
