In a heartwarming ceremony held during the Vaghdhara Kala Mahotsav at Mukti Auditorium in Model Town, Andheri West, Being Sevak Charitable Trust was honoured with the BEST NGO Award 2024. The award was presented to Mr. Priyank Shah, the trustee of the Trust, by Shri Ramesh Bais, the esteemed Governor of Maharashtra (2023-2024), in recognition of the Trust's exceptional efforts in serving society and the environment.

The Governor, who has previously served as the Governor of Jharkhand and Tripura, praised the Trust’s impactful work and dedication to supporting the most vulnerable sections of society. The ceremony celebrated not only the collective achievements of the NGO but also the contributions of individuals making a positive impact in their respective fields. Several awardees from various domains were honoured for their remarkable service.

Mr. Priyank Shah's Humbling Acknowledgment
In his acceptance speech, Mr. Priyank Shah humbly acknowledged the honor, emphasizing that while he never seeks recognition for his work, receiving the prestigious BEST NGO Award 2024 from the Governor of Maharashtra was a deeply heartwarming moment. He shared, "Real happiness comes from serving others-SEVAK BANO. I believe each of us has a role to play in making society better, and it is through such acts of service that we bring meaningful change."

At Being Sevak Charitable Trust, we live by the spirit of SEVAK BANO, which stands for selfless service towards society. Our projects are designed to support every segment of society, particularly low-income groups, by ensuring equal rights and opportunities for all. We strive to create a world where every individual-whether male or female-has access to dignity, equality, and the resources they need to thrive.

Our core focus lies in uplifting visually impaired and differently-abled individuals, empowering them to lead independent, fulfilling lives. We are also deeply committed to safeguarding the environment, supporting children, and caring for animals, understanding that these aspects of society deserve our attention and service.

Through our various initiatives, we are dedicated to serving selflessly and creating a world where no one is left behind. Whether it's empowering women, providing resources for the differently-abled, or offering support to vulnerable communities, we aim to create lasting, positive change in every life we touch.

Being Sevak Charitable Trust: Empowering Communities and Transforming Lives

Being Sevak Charitable Trust is committed to empowering marginalized communities, with a focus on visually impaired and specially-abled individuals. Through initiatives like donating Rozgaar Booths, Sewing Machines, Tricycles, Flour Mills, and Vocational Training, we provide tools for independence and financial self-sufficiency, helping individuals contribute meaningfully to society.

Our Baby Feeding Centre project provides safe, hygienic spaces for mothers to breastfeed in public areas like police stations, railway stations, and hospitals, normalizing public breastfeeding and offering privacy and comfort.

With Project Aurat, we promote menstrual hygiene among young girls in underserved areas, providing education and hygiene kits to empower them to take charge of their health.

Looking ahead, Project H2 - Health to Hygiene aims to improve rural school infrastructure by building safe kitchens and toilets. We are also planning to launch a Dialysis Patient Support Project, donating dialysis machines to make treatments affordable for financially unstable patients.

Together, these initiatives reflect our mission to build a more inclusive, healthier, and dignified world. Your support can help us continue transforming lives.

Mr. Shah mentioned that these initiatives were driven by a deep understanding of the daily struggles faced by these individuals. "We carefully considered the difficulties they face and have implemented projects that directly address their challenges. By providing tools and resources, we hope to uplift them and offer a path to financial independence."

Conclusion

Being Sevak Charitable Trust's commitment to uplifting the underprivileged, empowering the differently-abled, and supporting vulnerable communities serves as a model of selfless service. With its holistic approach to addressing basic human needs, the Trust continues to play a crucial role in building a more inclusive society and contributing to the development of the nation.

Mr. Priyank Shah's dedication to these causes proves that even in challenging times, compassion and effort can make a tangible difference.
